Rhetorical questions

We all hate rhetorical questions, yet we constantly ask them. Hoping the answer we receive will be so far from what we already know it to be. I found myself asking questions that God has clearly answered before I thought to ask. He continues to speak to me in my dreams and yet I wake in confusion. Wondering if he’s trying to tell me something, wondering what he’s trying to convey. Knowing that he’s very direct, I make excuses and pretend to not recall the dream, the message. Taking days to evaluate, asking myself questions, asking others questions.. I realize more than ever, you can’t stray from God’s path. When he’s talking listen, and take it for what it is. He’s trying to get you where you need to be, stop asking rhetorical questions.
